In several interviews promote his new album Purpose, he’s brought up the “Good For You” singer and has had some really amazing things to say about their time together. “It’s like, magical,” Justin told i-D about when he and Selena were dating. “There’s nothing like it. So I felt that and I just didn’t want to let it go. When it was hard, I was just like, ‘I want to stick this out.’ So it was on again, off again, on again, off again,” he revealed in an interview released Nov. 11.
He gave Jelena fans more hope in an interview withEllen DeGeneres Nov. 9, when he was asked about their chances of a reconciliation. ““Um, maybe?  We have a lot of history together, and I am sure it could possibly happen. I think we are both just on our own journeys and figuring ourselves out, and I think maybe once we figure ourselves out we can come back and make an awesome duo, or she finds someone awesome and I’ll find someone awesome. I just want her to be happy.”
