Sporting Gijon starlet Alen Halilovic revealed he was crushed to see his side swept aside 6-0 by parent club Barcelona on Saturday, branding the result "f***** up".
The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season in La Liga with the minnows, notching three goals and five assists in 33 outings while on loan from the Catalans.
However, even he was powerless to stand in the way of the Spanish champions as they demolished Sporting at Camp Nou, with Luis Suarez netting an incredible four goals in a landslide win.
And Halilovic confirmed after the match that the result was far too harsh on his team, as he revealed his awe for Suarez's goalscoring exploits after he also netted four times against Deportivo earlier in the week.
"When you lose 6-0 it's always f***** up because we played well in the first half, pushed and had our own chances to score," the Croatian told Goal.
"In the second half Barcelona were awarded an offside goal and received two non-existent penalties while we had a player [Ognjen Vranjes] wrongly sent off.

"It is very hard to play against Barcelona with a man down but this is football. I thought it was impossible to score 8 goals in 2 games but if there's someone able to do that, it is Suarez.
"He is a top player, I really like him."
There are rumours that Blaugrana coach Luis Enrique is strongly considering bringing Halilovic back to Camp Nou and promoting him to the senior squad next season following the consistency of his performances.
But while he acknowledged his own growth and desire to represent last term's treble winners, the starlet denied there is anything concrete and insists he is just focused on ending the season well.
"I don't know what is going to happen in the future," he continued. "I want to be back in Barcelona but I really don't know.
"We haven't spoken to the club yet because both Barcelona and Sporting have three important games remaining. There will still be time for speaking later.

"[Compatriot Ivan] Rakitic and I spoke before the game about things. He is my best friend here [at Barcelona] and a good person. He always helped me a lot.

"I played a lot of games in my first season in la Liga, I have scored goals and I have provided many assists. I am happy I've often been in the line-up despite being 19. I am proud of it."
