TEAM NEWS: Wilshere returns to Arsenal bench for Sunderland trip

The 24-year-old is yet to make a Premier League appearance for the Gunners this season due to injury, but could make a feature against the Black Cats at the Stadium of Light
Jack Wilshere could make his first Premier League appearance of the season after being named on the bench for Arsenal's trip to Sunderland on Sunday.

Wilshere, 24, hasn't managed to turn out in the league for the Gunners so far this season due to injury problems, but has stepped up his efforts by being named amongst the substitutes at the Stadium of Light.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has named an unchanged side from the one that beat West Brom 2-0 on Thursday, despite only having two days rest.

Sunderland, on the flip side, have also fielded the same starting 11 which beat Norwich 3-0 in their last league outing as the Black Cats look to pick up more points in their bid to avoid the drop.
