There was a LOT leading up to Big Sean and Ariana Grande’s official break up, and even money was involved in the couple’s demise, a new report claims. Here’s the scoop!

Before their split, Ariana Grande, 21, and Big Sean, 27, had eight months of a loving relationship, which included romantic dates, expensive trips to see one another and more — but who was footing the bill on all this extravagance? Despite the rapper’s claims, it was reportedly actually Ariana who took care of things financially for the couple. What!?

Sean alleged that he had put out a ton of money on his relationship with Ariana, but it turns out, she was the one who actually pulled most of the weight when it came to paying for things, TMZ reports.

Because both singers had incredibly busy schedules, they had to fly in order to see one another on many occasions, and according to the site, it was Ariana who was usually paying for the travel costs.
Obviously Ariana is incredibly successful and can probably afford to spend money on these kind of things, but Sean has a rap career and money of his own, and, come on…it’s standard that the man should be the one to pay!

But alleging that Ariana is selfish because of how much money she had him spend on the relationship (when it was really the other way around!) isn’t the only thing Sean did that caused the “Break Free” singer to want out! Sean’s inappropriate song lyrics also played a role in the split.

In his song “Stay Down,” released in March, Sean raps about his and Ariana’s sex life, and even says that his girl has a “billion dollar p—y.” Her own grandmother even caught wind of the track, leading to awkward questions, and Ariana was reportedly absolutely humiliated over it.
We don’t blame Ariana for wanting to call it quits after all this! Although we totally wish they could’ve worked it out, there’s definitely a lot that needs to change if these two ever want to try working things out.
