But lately, Bruce and the Kardashian girls haven’t seen much of each other. A source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about the current divide between Bruce and his ex-wife, Kris Jenner‘s kids.

Let’s face it. Bruce is going through a lot right now. Transitioning into a woman in the public eye isn’t an easy task. While the former Olympian appreciates the support he’s gotten from Kourtney, Kim and Khloe, he’s distanced himself away from them so they aren’t brought into his personal drama.
“Although Bruce really appreciates [the Kardashians’] support, this is something he has to go through alone,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He has pushed them away somewhat to protect them. This is his decision and his transformation and they shouldn’t be judged for it. It’s all on him.”

“Only he knows what it’s like to live in his skin. Also, Bruce is incredibly protective of his children and doesn’t want them getting hurt by what he’s going through,” the source continues. “Bruce absolutely adores his children more than anything in his life. That totally includes all of the Kardashian kids as he looks upon them as his own. Although at times they have struggled with his changes, in the end they have been so unbelievably loving and supportive. Once everyone realized how serious Bruce was about this, they showered him with love.”
Aww! We’re just happy to know the “rift” between Bruce and the Kardashian kids actually comes from a place of love.

“Bruce’s transformation is a very personal journey that he has to go through himself. It’s been years in the making and his family has know some but not all of what he has gone through emotionally and psychologically,” the source adds.

Bruce Jenner Already Dressing & Living As A Woman Privately

While he’s momentarily separated himself from his stepdaughters, Bruce has used his alone time to live as he pleases.
“He wears women’s clothing all the time when he’s home — he’s very comfortable in it because it’s who he is. And all of his mannerisms are female,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “He’s also begun applying make up to his face and is on a very strict diet so he can have a nice figure.”
Bruce has yet to speak about his lifestyle change, but is slated to reveal all during his exclusive 20/20 interview with Diane Sawyer, airing on April 24. While details of the interview remain a mystery at this time, HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY reported that it will be the last time we see him as a man.
